Welcome

July, 2020

A Note From Kari

In the 5 years that have now gone by since Kelly’s passing, I have come to the realization that this journey of life is one of constant learning, change and hopefully, growth.  I write this in July of 2020 in the midst of the so called “Covid-19” virus, at a time when there is much fear of what the future might hold for the entire globe; a time where there is much division between us all; a time where we need to think things through and re-think things as well.

Even Kelly, when it became apparent that he would not be healed from his cancer, said to me, “This is not my Jesus.” He had been full of faith that God would heal him, but He did not.

What are we expecting from our God; from our Jesus? Why is God allowing things to go in the direction that they are right now? Perhaps we also need to re-think who our Jesus is; what are the reasons for what we are going through and how can we be the light for others in this dark place?

I pray the Great Awakening/Revival that we have hoped for, for so long, may now be finally upon us. May we constantly re-examine our understanding of the unity; of the oneness, Jesus spoke of in John 17. May it finally become our reality.
